The Picasso Museum occupies five large mansions or palaces of Montcada Street. The original palaces dating from the 13th century-14TH, with major renovations over time, featured in the 18th century. The palaces are a good sample of the Gothic civil catalan. They have a common structure, around a courtyard, with access to the noble floor by a bare exterior staircase.
